Re: LOCKED GAS CAP (Here's the fix !)
Here's the fix (and don't laugh too hard): while clicking the open button on your remote car door opener (repeatedly), knock on the side panel (not the lid) to the right of the gas lid. If you are fortunate enough to find the sweet spot, the latch will open. It seems like the best spot is just to the right of the middle of the lid. My 2004 Murano gas lid started locking ... Nissan Murano Power Seat Issue
Need welder to fix seat
skippy, are you local to the Philly area? If so, you have another customer for that seat welding. I have a 2004 Nissan Murano with 43k miles, a Gold Preferred warranty, a broken seat, and a hefty estimate from Nissan service. I can see the broken connection under the left rear of the seat. I can't believe this is not covered under warranty. How much should one expect ... Read More...

I took it to our local autozone and had the code read, it says it is a faulty camshaft position sensor (code D0343). Came home started to do some research online. ... Read More...

Re: sadsack1936 [jbhog330]
I was ready to go to battle with Nissan after my 2004 started having the same problem with the hesitation. To make a long story short the air hose was not secure and I was not getting the right mix of fuel and air. The second time I called the Nissan dealership the first thing they asked was had I checked my air hose and sure enough that was the problem. Maybe it is a common ... Read More...

2003 Nissan Murano CVT (Transmission)
Re: 2003 Murano Transmission Problem [vanessaesq]
Apparently they did not fix the issue with the transmission in 2004 as my 2004 Murano with 80,000 miles was diagnosed with the same problem this AM. Pretty much the same estimated costs "if" the whole transmission does not need to be replaced. I barely avoided a bad accident when the engine failed to rev when starting to merge into traffic, then suddenly did rev ... Read More...
