Here is the deal, my husband is upside down 6 K in a 2004 Tahoe, worth 6K owe 12K, so we are trying to trade-in the Tahoe and lease a 2009 Murano LE AWD MSRP 40, 460 Sale 39, 920 8K down includes first payment, taxes, fees (said so large due to negative equity from Tahoe, which is only 6k, not 8k) $ 550/mos taxes included 24 mos/15k I think this is ridiculous, the sales guy ... Here's the fix (and don't laugh too hard): while clicking the open button on your remote car door opener (repeatedly), knock on the side panel (not the lid) to the right of the gas lid. If you are fortunate enough to find the sweet spot, the latch will open. It seems like the best spot is just to the right of the middle of the lid. My 2004 Murano gas lid started locking ... skippy, are you local to the Philly area? If so, you have another customer for that seat welding. I have a 2004 Nissan Murano with 43k miles, a Gold Preferred warranty, a broken seat, and a hefty estimate from Nissan service. I can see the broken connection under the left rear of the seat. yeah that has happen to me when i first bought my car I have 2004 nissan murano. the engine did( like cut off) one time. I was scared as Hell. The dealership told me that is was something in the transmission ( i was a recall) now since it was fixed ith havent had any problems except witht he gas door not opening. thats another problem only the remote can open the gas door.. ... I was ready to go to battle with Nissan after my 2004 started having the same problem with the hesitation. To make a long story short the air hose was not secure and I was not getting the right mix of fuel and air. Apparently they did not fix the issue with the transmission in 2004 as my 2004 Murano with 80,000 miles was diagnosed with the same problem this AM. Pretty much the same estimated costs "if" the whole transmission does not need to be replaced.
