Controversial design elements aside, the Endeavor offers a spacious interior and nimble handling for a vehicle in this class.

The V6 engine produces plenty of torque. The chassis and steering are well-tuned, creating a nimble feeling that belies the vehicle's size and weight.

The Endeavor ride is intentionally firm but no less comfortable than other SUVs in its class. Seats are spacious, front and rear, but are not well contoured.

The Endeavor's controls work well despite the off-putting design theme.

The exterior design is a bit forced, with tacked-on front end styling. The interior design is a bit heavy-handed, with too much of a monochromatic look on some trim levels.
