Black paint problems
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New Limited Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Major problems with the black paint have developed in about 2-3 years. In my opinion there is an obvious defect with the black paint on many Mitsubishi. Paint on the roof down to primer in many locations on roof. Car is garage kept, to bad it comes with a 3 yr 36k mile paint warranty. Suggest bringing back to dealer early, or you'll get no where.. Not sure with so many issue with the Black paint they have not recalled.
Favorite Features
Power outlet in rear cargo area.
Suggested Improvements
More leg room, anyone over 6 ft will have there knees in the dash.

2004 Endeavor AWD LS
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I think it is probably the most comfortable and roomy mid-size SUV out there. Compared to other models, I think you really get a lot for the money. The engine really has a lot of pick up for the size of the vehicle, and my husband tows his 17' bass fishing boat with it - and there is virtually no effect on the ride. I have owned it over 3 years and love it.
Favorite Features
The roomy interior, "sport cloth" seats, the look from the outside (pretty beefy if you ask me), good pick up, and AWD works GREAT in New England!!!
Suggested Improvements
Large cup holders. They are large at the "opening", but the bottom is more narrow, doesn't hold drinks that securely.

Best SUV out there

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New LS Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
When I traded in my '02 Galant, I purchased the '04 Endeavor in Sept '04 and it is great. My routine maintenance was covered for the first 3 years which saved me thousands because the 36,000 mile service was covered (a $500 service). The only problem I had is that the windshield washer fluid pump went out but it only cost $50 and took 20 minutes to fix. That has been my only "complaint" in almost 4 years and 55,000 miles. I have taken at least 15-20 road trips and never had a single problem!!! I think I made a wise investment in purchasing this vehicle new. I definitely recommend this vehicle. As having owned the Galant, they drive the same. Good job Mitsubishi.
Favorite Features
Built on Galant chassis, great handling, excellent warranty (100,000 miles on power train)

I Miss it, it was Excellent

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
My 2004 Endeavor was my baby. I loved that car. Comfortable, lots of power, fun to drive. I never ever EVER had a problem from it. Nothing. I could rely on it. Also, very roomy. I had to haul around a wheel chair and various other things and it had the room and more. I only sold it because I needed emergency money. My only complaint was that it really wasn't all that great on gas. I got something around 18 MPG and that was just killing me. Otherwise I recommend it.
Favorite Features
Reliability, Roominess, pep, Sound system, Wow!
Suggested Improvements
Better colors, the CD player stuck a little, I'd have liked the option to change out the radio/CD player.

Best SUV Owned
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Purchased used Endeavor in 2006 with about 60K Miles. The Endeavor is very comfortable and great to drive. It has not had any issues at all. All wheel drive is excellent. I even had the car on the wet hill and it would not spin a single tire. I would recommend this SUV to anyone. It's a very comfortable drive on the highway. Large mirrors and plenty of space for 6'1 foot guy. Lot of space in the back seat.
Favorite Features
AWD. Large mirrors. Comfortable ride. Interior Look. GREAT VEHICLE
Suggested Improvements
Too low to the ground. Although the clearance looks high, chack out from the rear view. The bars going to the rear tires really lower the vehicle clearance. Great for the city driving, not so good off-road as far as clearance goes.

This marks my 5th Mitsubishi I have owned. I bought this for my fiance because he fell in love with it after seeing it at an auto show. I did my research and read plenty of reviews and all have reflected my opinion on our Endeavor. I have driven and sat in many other SUVs and our Endeavor by far tops my best experience. The Endeavor is light years better than same class SUVs and better than the Highlander and even 4Runner. It's solid in all aspects and well balanced in ride, steering, power, comfort, braking, appearance and quality. Mitsubishi continues to improve and impress me and will continue to buy a Mitsubishi product!
Favorite Features
Ride quality is superb and quiet. The chassis and suspension makes uneven and harsh roads comfortable. The interior room is awsome. The 3.8L v6 is strong throughout the powerband. The Infinity sound system is very nice! The interior and exterior is fresh to look at, too.
Suggested Improvements
Being able to switch to an aftermarket headunit. A bit better MPG in the city. Highway mpg is good though.

Nice drive
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor XLS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Nice car and reliable, roomy, great for long trips. Bought car in August of 2003 and have had no major problems. However had to have the brakes replaced twice and having problems with the service engine light censor. Early in ownership had to have steering column replaced, failed during driving.
Favorite Features
Roomy, great for packing lots of cargo. Torque was the selling point for me. If you forget to turn headlight off, turns off for you.
Suggested Improvements
Premium gas hurts wallet a bit. CD player will not play burned CDs. Silver paint on stereo rubs off with use.

My last Mitsubishi
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New Limited AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I loved it at first. But took it in for several problems. Front strut was collapsed (covered under ext. warranty), inter. exhaust pipe baffles broken (part $1,400, labor $200), rear liftgate rattles terribly, visor mirror broke, handle fell off sunroof visor, console lid broke and much more. This vehicle has only 45,000 miles. What a piece of junk. I have to pay for exhaust repairs. I have always owned Mitsubishis but this will be my last.
