My last Mitsubishi
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New Limited AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I loved it at first. But took it in for several problems. Front strut was collapsed (covered under ext. warranty), inter. exhaust pipe baffles broken (part $1,400, labor $200), rear liftgate rattles terribly, visor mirror broke, handle fell off sunroof visor, console lid broke and much more. This vehicle has only 45,000 miles. What a piece of junk. I have to pay for exhaust repairs. I have always owned Mitsubishis but this will be my last.

So Comfortable to Drive! Roomy!
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Limited Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Very comfortable. Love the large area under the windshield, gives feeling of even more roominess. The center button behind steering wheel works intermittently, seems like when vehicle heats up, button gets issues. AC still blows pretty strongly when system turned to off - unusual. Back bumper paint scratches and dings easily, plastic bumper tread raised and attaching hooks broke off, but still intact. Black area just in front of trunk window area lost color (spotty), but covered under warranty. Middle display for music and vents is a bit too dark - brighter should be standard. Great smooth and quiet ride and sound system. Nice noticably different exterior design.
Favorite Features
Large area under windshield, 6 CD player and stereo system. Quiet, smooth ride, different design of exterior, very large sunroof, thick luggage rack bars (looks sporty).
Suggested Improvements
Bumpers on higher part of door so doors don't get dinged so easily. Tougher paint on back and front bumpers, less wind noise when s/r fully open, brighter mid display on dash, lit gear shifter, more air coming from floor vent, windows in lock pos.-driver should be able to open all windows.

Why Don't You Back Your Vehicle?
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor XLS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This vehicle could be one of the greatest vehicles put on the road, except when problems arise no one is willing to look into the problem while the vehicle is still under warranty, God forbid they will have to pay for something that's wrong with it. My vehicle has had a break problem since the day I drove it home. I have to do a break job on the front every 15,000 to 18,000 miles. When I take it in for a brake job, they tell me it is because of the way I drive, but as soon as the warranty was up and I would have to pay for all the repairs, they found almost a thousand dollars worth of repairs to do. This was with a Mitsubishi dealer and not the dealership I leased the vehicle from.
Favorite Features
I loved just about everything about this vehicle, the price, the way it drives, how much room there is, and how great it handles, until the problems started. Now all I can think of is how many days are left on the lease before I can get rid of this lemon and will never own another one.
Suggested Improvements
You really need to back the vehicles that you put out on the road, because if don't believe in your product enough to support it, then no one else will either.

Satisfied Customer

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New LS Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I have been very pleasantly surprised by my '04 Endeavor! It has had zero problems, has excellent stability and handling, has car-like comfort, has good size and room for the price, and has good acceleration. The lease is almost up and I'll get another and probably buy this one.
Favorite Features
The great mechanical reliability. For the three years that I have had this truck I've only had to do routine maintenance.

Overall Excellent
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor New XLS AWD 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
My 2007 Endeavor XLS is an excellent drive. It has a very smooth transmission. It provides excellent handling around the corners, almost like a car.
Favorite Features
The sports shifter, steering wheel mounted controls, the interior blue lighting, and nice sound system.
Suggested Improvements
It is a little bit too light. It is very easy to fishtail in the snow. It could do better on road noise. It definitely should be able to take lower grade gas.

My Mitsubishi
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor XLS Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I have the 2004 2 wheel drive XLS model. This vehicle has enough horsepower to not take crap from anyone. But if you want more power, get the 04' and a half model and don't forget all models have the Tiptronic transmission. All models are very comfortable to drive and the blind spots are minimal. I have pushed my Endeavor in the snow and the rain and it exceeded my expectations. I've always felt very safe in all types of weather. As far as fuel comsumption goes, it's one of the best SUVs to have. My overall raiting would be 9.5. The two things that could be better are the breaking system and the SUV tends to be a little too bouncy. Overall I strongly recommend this vehicle.
Favorite Features
The leather is plush. The dash lights up blue. The Tiptronic transmission is great when going up a hill or rushing out of traffic. The heated seats get nice and toasty. The look is very sleek. There are lots of power supplies. The sound system is crystal clear. And the turning radious is amazing!
Suggested Improvements
The breaking system needs to respond better. It's not terrible, but it could be better. Also, I think the truck is a little too bouncy.

Better Than Volvo
Vehicle
2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Limited Fwd 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I bought my '04 Endeavor in Jan. '05. I had looked at the Volvo XC90 for a long time and was going to get that but decided to look at the Endeavor after seeing one on the road. I INSTANTLY fell in love. The drive is fantastic, very comfortable, great display, style is "HOT!" It's now been over a year and I am currently in the market to trade it in on a brand new one! I think I will drive Endeavor's for the rest of my life!
Favorite Features
The heated seats, steering wheel controls, fantastic handling, design is FINE. I always see folks "noticing" my "truck!"
Suggested Improvements
I wish I knew about having to use premium gas before I bought it, the engine is a bit rough on regular or mid grade. Regardless, I'm looking to buy another one.

Having driven almost every make of automobile over the years, as I was a manger of fleet operations for a local government, this SUV drives and handles better that the Cadies and Lincolns do. SUPRISE! I shure was. Good work Mitsubishi........
Favorite Features
The comfort and handling. It sets in the road and steers like a sports car. The 100,000 mile waranty helps.

So far, I love my Endeavor. It's my first SUV and man I love the tourque it has and the power behind it.
Favorite Features
The interior is probably one of my favirote parts especially with the blue gauges, heated seats, sunroof, and manual shifting.
Suggested Improvements
The black piece under the rear hatch faded quickly. And it has some rattles, nothing major. though. Other than that truck is perfect!
