This is very comfortable car. Lot of amenities and it feels very safe. The H-K sound system is outstanding. I have had it not long enough to make a judgement on its reliability yet, but so far it has been a great car. I took my friends out and none could tell it is powered by a diesel engine. The acceleration is exceptional and the handling are quite sporty. It is also a very quite highway cruiser (reving at 200 rpm at 70mph) and has plenty of power for passing.
Favorite Features
The diesel engine. The safety features that makes the passengers/driver feel very safe and secure. The nice interior finish - the wood trimmed steering wheel is a very nice touch. The efficiency of the front and rear defrost. The very comfortable and quiet ride. Room on the back seats.
Suggested Improvements
Behaviour on snow could be better. Where's the 4-matic for cdi??. The fabric on lower portion of the doors and around the frame gets dirty far too easily. I am not too sure about the cruise control (can get confused with the turn signal too easily. Confusing command control
Tough choice

Coming off a 2002 BMW530i, looking at BMW 530ix, Audi A6, and MB 3504M. Tough call. But the BMW was pricey and had awful interior controls, even after I got used to the exterior. The Audi was loaded with features and good looking but a mushy drive. I hesitated for months, finally settling on the MB. Drove it in a big snow yesterday. I have to say I would get another in a heartbeat. Classic look, great interior, wonderful drive. The drive is not as crisp as my BMW, but close. I enjoy the slightly more luxury feel more than I anticipated. Hey BMW, it has cup holders! If you are debating these three, go MB...
Favorite Features
Interior is well designed. Lots of power. AWD is fantastic. No I-Drive. In black with tan interior, she is a head turner. You have to get xenon's that turn with the steering.
Suggested Improvements
Stone interior is just to light, dirty the first week. Fabric trim along door sills? What were they thinking? Um, that's it.

This is my first car ever and I love it. The ride is so smooth. The inside is so beautiful. The wood trim is gorgeous along with the chrome trim. The body style is sport yet very luxurious at the same time. I have the premium sound system which is incredible and the courtesy blinds which come in handy when it's very sunny. The navigation could be a little bit more on track, but overall, a very amazing vehicle, how can you beat a Mercedes-Benz?
Favorite Features
Definitely the performance. It's a very powerful V6 and at the same time it's very smooth.
Suggested Improvements
The navigation system needs to be more accurate

As a previous BMW 5 series owner, I doubted that another car would compare favorably to that. The E350 4-matic is a dream to drive. The extra horsepower makes all the difference. All electronics work great. The car is beautiful inside and out. Quality all around.
Favorite Features
The cruise control is perfect. The voice activated controls are great. The more powerful 6 cylinder is worth the 350 as compared to the 320.
Suggested Improvements
The Harman Kardon logic 7 doesn't sound as good as expected. The Infiniti M-35 sounds better.

I just plain love this car. I ordered from the factory with Obsidian black exterior and options like the HID lighting, and just could not be happier. The pickup, performance and handling are stunning, the interior is perfect, and the sound system performs as well as the car. I specifically wanted a certain set of options, so I sat with my dealer and made a build sheet and waited for delivery from Germay and I am not disappointed. The car is all I had expected and more. I am a diesel lover - I also have a VW diesel and I just cannot adjust to how quiet and quick this MB CDi is. Mileage has varied between 24 and 32 MPG, and tends to run higher when my wife drives it. She loves it as well.
Favorite Features
Ride, handling, performance, sound system, trunk space, HID lighting option and did I mention the performance?
Suggested Improvements
Only thing I could think of is the DVD/Navigation system. It does not have some streets and/or addresses in it, but works beautifully 98% of the time. also, the rear seat legroom could be just a inch or two bigger. Other than that, nothing I can think of..

Beutifull styling, lots of torque so this car is fast - and I'm getting 34 MPG. Excellent handling on narrow rual roads that we drive in TN; love the electronic manual shifting. Most dealers order without many options, but many features (i.e. navigation) can be added by the dealer.

Just returned from a 2,000 trip, I'm a bit disappointed with the fuel mileage. Even when using every trick to coax better mileage from the car, the best I saw on the highway was 34 mpg, it was usually less than that. The fit and finish of the vehicle are excellent. I'm not a big fan of the HVAC controls, the dials adjust the temp in 2 degree increments, sometimes it's hard to get just the right temp. I've seen reviews that indicate it's too easy to confuse the turn signal with the cruise control stalk, and even after 3 months with the car, I still occasionally mix them up. The car is an excellent long-range cruiser, very comfortable.
Favorite Features
I like the long range between fuel stops, even though I seem to have a car that isn't getting quite the mileage other reviewers have written. The car is comfortable on long trips, the front seats are very good.
Suggested Improvements
Do something different with the turn signal and cruise control stalks, it's too easy to get them mixed up. Change the A/C temp control to allow 1 degree increments versus 2 degrees.

The E320 CDI is a real driving pleasure, comfortable, amazing pick up and accelaration and a wonderful stable driving platform - minimum roll at cornering. A car to enjoy and keep
Favorite Features
Engine performance, fuel economy, comfortable and a knock out sound system

Can't think of any except maybe putting the engine into a CLK convertible

This is my second E-model turbo diesel. I was happy with the trade on my E- 300TD. This E320 CDI exceeded my expectations for overall quality and roadability. There are a few options I feel should come with the car but all in all I feel its a 9.5.
Favorite Features
The GPS. The dash and information center.
Suggested Improvements
Make it available in all wheel drive. Being old fashioned I would still like to dip sticks to check oil and transmission
