Well we have the 2007 A6's and 5's -- and here they come with 255 horsepower. I believe making these two Germans the weaklings on the beach where everyone else can just kick sand in their faces. Hello! I am looking to buy a new vehicle and was leaning towards the Mercedes E320. I am looking at a 2003-2004 model of the vehicle and I have a couple of questions: 1) If the car has 20-50k miles on it, then will that mean it'll be problem free? 2)Could I put a MB navigation system in it later if wanted? Thank for link. What I personally think - Yes - they may say it's going to be " no charge " , but this no charge will come with a basic price increase. I leased my E350 4Matic with primium and pano roof for $650 today with zero down and I don't think you'll be able to lease so called no charge Sport Package even close to this price. I don't agree that what's happened is that the media consistently tells people not to buy the BNW 5-series, but the people override them and buy it anyway. The media's assessment of the BMW 5-series new design actually has been mixed. I agree that coverage of BMW in the auto mags is often silly. The often-quoted Car and Driver (May, 2005) "sports-luxury" comparison awarded the Infiniti M45 first place, but almost entirely on the basis of rapid acceleration, rather than styling or an anti-iDrive bias. I just spent the past couple of hours scanning through the nearly 800 messages in this forum. In summary, it seems most of the electrical problems occurred in the 2003 model year, although other model years certainly have had problems, just seemingly not as prevalent as '03. For me, there have been two different car worlds. When I'm surfing here or reading CR and JD Powers, the only car I can see owning is the M35/M45 or a Lexus.
