2006 Lexus ES 330 Road Test Ratings

Typical Lexus build quality and ease-of-use are the ES' strengths, but it's beginning to look and drive a bit dated.

As expected for a comfort-oriented car, handling and steering are not spectacular. Brakes and engine are adequate.

Smooth riding and very quiet with a sumptuous interior.

You don't have to read the manual to figure out any of the controls in this car.

The ES is due for a reskin, and just in time. The mechanical aspects of build quality are excellent.
