On my 2005 ES330, the hesitation happens sometimes if I accelerate slowly. If I need to merge onto the freeway or otherwise accelerate for sure, I stab the pedal and it takes off just fine. I previously had a 2000 RX300, and started noticing that issue after a time myself (and the awful hesitation problem) --- honestly, I had 2 transmission failures in the RX, thankfully fixed under warranty, and eventually got them to buy me out of that car, and after my complaining (or shouting at the dealership manager! lol) they gave me a great deal on a 2005 ES330. ... Hello Robert. The last time that I checked, Lexus was not providing any sort of lease money factor support on the 2006 ES 330 or the 2007 ES 350. As a result, if you were to lease either one through Lexus Financial Services, you would have to use its standard lease program. Greetings gwynters. The money factor that you were quoted for this car is in line with the current buy rate lease money factor for it. The selling price that you were quoted looks good to me as well, assuming that it is before the deduction of any capitalized cost reduction. Thanks for the additional information, hotjohn. Unfortunately, this car's lease program has completely changed for the month of April. Lexus is no longer providing lease support on it. It replaced its special lease money factor with $1,000 dealer cash. Make sure to renegotiate your car's selling price taking this cash into account if you haven't leased it ... Read More...
