I own a 2004 ES 330. I have about 28,000 miles on it and have owned it since August of 2004 (I bought it new). I have had too many problems to list here, but I will list what I consider the worst costomer service issue. The dashboard vent on the passenger side did not seat properly. As I have said before, I am tired of being told that I am the problem. All cars have oil. Do all cars have a built in hesitation to "protect" the engine? I understand that you may not notice the problem, or may view the hesitation as not BEING a problem. However, I view it as a problem. The only complaints at your NHTSA place I could find for ES 330 had to do with child seat restraints. For hesitation in both Lexus and Toyota there was one for 2003, a couple for 2004, and the rest were for 2005. I, too, was in the same boat. I even looked at a 2004 ES with 3,500 miles at Carmax. They wanted $31,000! For another $1,000, I got my 2005 ES from the Lexus dealership. It sounds like you got a better deal than I since you have everything except the navi. I assume you have the upgraded sound system? My price went from $35,200 to $32,000 in December. Read More...

My third Lexus is a 2004 ES330. It is the worst car I have ever owned. When you lift the foot off the accelerator, the car slows rapidly. Three times I nearly got rear ended. Then at about 18 mph, it jumps and goes into a normal coasting. Lexus says this is "normal". But it does it to varying degrees. Sometimes not at all. How can that be normal? Hi all,   Just purchased a 2005 ES 330 for $32,000 as part of the December to Remember sale. It has HID, leather/wood steering wheel, shifter, cool/heated seats, 6 disc cd changer, cargo net, mat, wheel locks, 17 inch tires and rear shade.   Could have done better if I had driven two hours to another dealer, but I feel good about it.   Especially since ...
