Review

I am very happy with my new RRS. It is sturdy, and the build quality is superb. It is fun to drive and fun to drive over things. Nice turining radius and the air suspension is nice. I applaud LR for using the Denso Navi system (like lexus). Unlike porsche and other makes, there is no cheap plastic inside.

Favorite Features

I love the 550 watt sound system, Touch screen navi, and the torque-y feel.

Suggested Improvements

My phone does not work with the bluetooth PTI consistently. I do not have an approved phone though. They need to update software for more compatibility.

Review

This vehicle performs incredibly on any road conditions.Very responsive both in steering, handling, and breaking. I traded in my LR-3 to get into this vehicle. Although the same engine, RR Sport handled better and felt lighter (though RR Sport is about 500 lbs. lighter).The interior is impecable and with the ease of control access in ergonomics and voice activation.I do miss some of the LR3 features such as the additional cup holders located at all side doors and center console.Additionally,the ashtray pullouts in the Sport are limited to only one which cannot accomodate coins.I really enjoy my RR Sport. Get this vehicle with the luxary and cold climate package.It looks cheap/dif without it.

Favorite Features

Leather seats and comfort. Wood trims on the doors and center console. Shifter and break controls.

Suggested Improvements

Side view mirrors that can be programmed to control the backup angle mode. Windshield vertical lines being visable-takes time to get used to them.

Review

So far I love my RRS. The only thing I feel it needs is more hp - although more hp is available for a price. Compared to Porsche Cayenne V8, FX45, BMW X5 4.4 - this was by far the best ride for the money. Just coming up on 1000 miles and have loved every minute of it. It will be interesting to see how it works in Northern Wisconsin winters with the stock tires. Also hope the trade-in value will rival that of BMW.

Bluetooth, Cockpit Style Interior, Styling, Price compared to full size Range Rover.

Suggested Improvements

All 4 window controls for the driver should be one touch up or down like BMWs, not just the driver's window. Standard 20" wheels. Power adjustable steering wheel (tilt, trim, telescope). More 12v power outlets in the front of the vehicle for radar, phone, etc.

Review

I traded my 2003 Range Rover in for the new 2006 Sport. I enjoy this vehicle so much more than my 2003!! I love driving it and just about everything about it!!

Favorite Features

Top of my list is the Nav system. Stereo is the best on the market, I love the seating and head lights that move. CLASSY SPORTY LOOK

Suggested Improvements

Less plastic and more real metal. Needs automatic folding rear view mirrors and backup camera, also metal brake and gas pedals.

I traded in my 05 ford mustang gt.For this 06 range rover sport. At first when i saw this vehicle it was love at first sight! To ever think i could afford a vehicle like this was just unimaginable. The ride, safety,and looks are out of this world. This is the best riding vehicle i have ever had and this makes 29 cars in my life time. We love it so much we thought of buying another one. For my husband. The horsepower is also 300 like the mustang so i didnt loose that.But the room is worth the trade. The options my range rover sport has is incredible too. Love the navigation system.The lights that move as you drive.Thats a plus too.This vehicle is the best! I cant' rate it high enough! I just love it!

Navigation, ugraded leather/luxury package. The key!!!! The coolest!!!

Suggested Improvements

Should have the key pad on the door for lock outs!!! Now a days they make them attractive... So dont let the attractiveness keep you from putting that feature on. Should have keyless panel pad on the door.I locked my self out the first day i bought it! Took an hour to get in. But had to wait a day!

Review

This has to be the best vehicle Land Rover has come out with. The engine (4.4L) and transmission are improvements from the 4.4 and 4.6 L engines of the Land Rover Discovery II and IIa (1999 to 2004). The smooth ride rivals that of the Lexus GX470. The interior is well-appointed.

Favorite features: Navigation system, five different drive selects, climate controls (easier and more efficeint use than other Land Rover models), and integrated phone system

Suggested Improvements

The manual park brake button was hard to find. Instead of plastic name bar on rear gate, lettering would have been better. I wish we had more wheel selections for North American market like UK.

Review

I just purchased the new RR Sport. It's excellent. The car looks and feels guts'z, but drives smoother than a truck. The interior feels like a combination of a BMW and a Range Rover. Very high quality, but now with a driver intended focus. It's pretty quick, nimble and sounds mean. It's definitely a guys drive. I could be happier.

Favorite Features

Definitely the blue tooth phone and the touch screen map. Love the cockpit seat up too.

Suggested Improvements

Price. Though way cheaper than a RR it's still steep, but I got a cold weather package for free.
