Re: Hyundai does not want to hear from you. [carolinabob]
I would expect any major company to respond exactly as hyundai did. It results from whackos sending them "ideas" for new cars and then litigating later saying the company "stole" their idea and asking for millions, and there are hundreds of such lawsuits filed yearly against all automakers. I don't think you should take it so seriously, and if you look at sales ... Read More...
Re: Azera reliability? [nexofa]
Nexofa...as you can see, there are a few positive postings in repsonse to your query. I too am a very happy Azera owner ('06 Limited). I currently have about 63K miles on it and the only issues I've had have been minor. The car is extremely pleasant to drive on long trips. I've driven mine from here (MD) to Orlando, Atlanta, North Carolina (quite a few times) & New York ... Read More...

Here is the correct Hyundai TSB
:) "TSB 08-BE-004, 6/17/2008 all Body Electrical System 08-BE-004 DIAGNOSIS VOLTAGE DROP " Inform your service writer that you want TSB 08-BE-004 performed on your Azera and demand that all procedures therein be done, bar none. When and if the service department properly follows these Hyundai TSB instructions to the letter, your problems will then be a thing ... Read More...

Huundai does not want to hear from consumers
Last year, I wrote to Lexus and told them why I did not purchase one of their cars. Within 2-3 weeks, they called me and we had a nice chat about what I would like to see on their cars. They also sent me brochures on the LS and GS models. I have also communicated with other manufacturers and been cordially treated. But, NOT Hyundai! 08/26 sent a letter to CEO with what I ... Hyundai Azera Front End Problems
Re: 2008 Azera; No problems at all. [dcrobbie22041]
Good luck with your 2008. At about 250-300 miles, my new L640 shocks began to deteriorate or at least the ride did. Car is now pretty much back to what it was before the 3rd set of shocks installed. It is apparent that the suspension is poorly designed for anything but near perfect roads and more than just shocks are needed. Of course, Hyundai could contract with a ... Read More...
2008 Azera; No problems at all.
From what I've seen on here and heard from a user, my 2008 Azera was built after the time of the shock problems. Thank God I don't have any issues with it yet (4400 miles since July 11). Took a nice road trip of 150 miles just today. Thanks again that the Azera seems to be an absolute better car than the '01 XG300 I traded in for it EVER was. The XG300 was in the shop every couple ... Read More...

Re: NO way shocks start to go after 250 miles [steve59]
Might want to do some self-treatment first - and some research. Also, it is not soft ride; it is severe roll/wallow/bounce. The intial ride due to brand new L640 shocks was improved, just as with the new L040's. However, the improvements did not last. See posts on this and other websites re: front end problems for many concuring with me. The roll/wallow soon returned ... Read More...
Hyundai Azera Navigation System
Map/Nav Updates
I've owned my 2008 Azera since July, and have received acknowledgment from Hyundai and XM about my ownership of the vehicle. What about map updates? My owners manual package has a link to those who made the map ROMs for the car, but no updates so far. My car was manufactured in Feb. of this year. Has anyone else heard anything about updates? Thanks. Read More...
My 2008 Azera Mileage
I live in the Washington DC area and have owned my car since July of this year. I average around 16 mpg in the day-to-day stop and go traffic around the suburbs. However, when I get on the highway or open road it goes way up! Two weeks after I bought it, I took a road trip to Tilghman Island, MD. Reset the MPG calculator there and started driving back to Alexandria, VA. ... Read More...
