In April 2008 we drove from Indiana to Myrtle Beach in a 2006 Pilot AWD. The general MPG breakdown throughout the trip is as follows (and keep in mind we were loaded to the gills with baby stuff - but we were not pulling a trailer and we did not did we have a roof box ). No, the '07 has the 3/6 VCM, which is good for 75 to 80 for ECO on a level road before it goes to 6. My understanding is that the 3/4/6 ( new on the '09's) will go up from 3 to 4 in that zone and only jump to 6 above 80 - jumping back and forth from 3 to 4 in the 75 - 85 zone as the road rises / falls - eaking out a bit more mpg. 2007 2WD Pilot EX, 11K miles

Just got back from 700 + mile trip, VA and NC freeway driving. Tried setting the cruise to 70 versus my usual 75, and did not run the A/C in the AM as it was not necessary - estimate A/C on 75 % of the trip. 498 miles on one tank, took 18.38 gallons, 27.095 MPG. msam If you are considering buying an MDX, you should buy NOW, because the current rebates are very attractive. I have negotiated 37,800K for a MDX with Tech and power tail gate which is 7200 below MSRP. There is a rumor that Honda may throw in another 1000 to 1500 rebate by 1st of Aug. You can ZOOM ZOOM better

Sure you may feel you could zoom zoom better in CX-9, but NOT faster than Highlander. Anything over 8 seconds zoom-zoom to 60, is prolly trying lawn-mower race cart. Not many dealers sit their vehicles in lots, but rather in preperation areas (call it their warehouse). I have a 2006 model but I don't think that would be any different than the '07 in this case. My rearview camera shows the entire rear bumper (as I think it should), the camera being on one side of the car makes the rear bumper image out of proportion and I see more of one side of the bumper than the other, nevertheless I see the entire bumper.
