I put the vehicle in park, removed the key from the ignition, which can only be done if the vehicle is in park. If you own a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and are going down a long steep hill and drop the transmission down to # 3 or # 2 in order to hold the Van back, that will work as long as you have the breaks to hold the transmission in that range, if you don’t apply the breaks or you lose your breaks the transmission will automatically shift up to the nest higher gear putting you into ... Picked up my new Grand Caravan, Friday last week. (9/26) Everything has been great so far. As you see all the Dodge Caravan ads all show the vans w/ no front license plate bracket. I just got rid of our old 96 Plymounth Van which has a nice front license plate bracket/holder and the 08 has just two little dimples to be drilled out. CHEAP! I have a Grand Caravan with the VES system, is there anyway to bypass the dvd going off when the vehicle is shifted from Park to Drive? I would like for the passenger to continue watching the movie in the front also. Is there a way around this?? Thanks Read More...
