Summary
What Edmunds.com says
Although it does offer a strong running V6, the Blazer is otherwise outclassed by nearly every other sport-ute on the market. An option only if the low price is too hard for you to overlook.
Pros
Wide range of features and options, competent drivetrain, cheap price.
Cons
Aged platform, spotty build quality, low-grade interior parts, uncomfortable rear seats, poor resale value.
What's New for 2004
A deluxe overhead console and the AutoTrac four-wheel-drive system can now be ordered as stand-alone options on any Blazer. The Xtreme model gets revised wheels.

Go Chevy! It's your birthday!
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Blazer LS Rwd 2dr SUV (4.3L 6cyl 5M)
Review
This is my 3rd vehicle ever and my first chevy and suv. I am so pleased with this vehicle i have considered moving into it. Its the perfect size for someone like me afraid of bigger SUVs (for now anyway). Its very hip and stylish inside and out. I got a great deal on it. Like I said i have never driven a Chevy but i am confident in thier quality and dependability. I am a happy Blazer owner and would serioulsy recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a fun and reliable suv.
Favorite Features
My favorite feature would have to be the rear folding seats. It makes a trip to the drive in movie theater that much more fun!
Suggested Improvements
The only area that concerns me is the gas mileage. With gas prices rising everyday, a more fuel economy engine would be great. Even still, I am coming from a small Volkswagen and I knew gas would disappear faster in the Blazer but I got it anyway because I believe in Chevy.
Shocked it was made by Chevy

Review
I was surprised Chevy could pull something like this out of their minds. I enjoyed it from the second I drove it off the lot. Driver functions in ease with radio station changing to finding a spot to park.
Favorite Features
Going to Home Depot and even though there is a cart in front of the parking space I still and park it there and take the cart to shop. Maneuverability was incredible and the shifting was smooth as silk. I enjoyed the ride quality due to the suspension. Fiancée loves the SUV also which was an A+
Suggested Improvements
A little lower stance and 17" wheels stock
A Good SUV
Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Blazer LS ZR2 4WD 2dr SUV (4.3L 6cyl 5M)
Review
The ZR2 suspension is the best I have used from a stock SUV. The vehicle has a slight tendency to oversteer on gravel or snow, but the base width lets you carry the slide an recover easily. The mileage for an SUV is average and the interior has some cheaply made plastic moldings, but just look at the exterior style. It is a great looking SUV. The 190 horses from the 4.3l V6 is not the greatest derived power from a modern internal comb. engine, but the gear ratio provides some awsome torque. For a 4850 lb vehicle it can pull just 150 lbs under its gross weight.
Favorite Features
On the fly 4wheel drive. Stock stereo. ZR2 suspension. Head room. Balanced weight for slide recovery. Style
Suggested Improvements
Plastic moldings stink. New cooling system with a turbo-charger. Better boot window opening button. Dent resistant doors. Addition of some carbon fiber to remove some of the weight. Continuation production of the brush guard option.

So far no problems. Nice SUV. Excellent ride, performance, fuel economy. If you do the service when its supposed to be done then your blazer will last forever. For all you Blazer owners, just remeber these few words. Respect the Blazer. They have been making these great vehicles for about 50 years. Treat it like you would treat your child. I wash mine 4 days a week. bring it to the park 2 days a week. when she needs love i give it to her. she treats me well so I treat her well. she is my pride and joy.

Vehicle
2004 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4WD 4dr SUV (4.3L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I purchased and as I was leaving the lot I found out it had no power! (windows, seats, doors)Cost $32,000. I had to have the brakes replaced at 1000 miles they were all rusted out. The rear seat I was told seats 3 accross. It seats 3 very small adults squished. It would seat 2 adults across. It has many blind spots, this surprised me because of how high it sits. It handles well on snow/ice in 4wd. this is not a on the fly switch however.
Favorite Features
Cup holders between seats
Suggested Improvements
Power is not an option for door/windows on vehicles anymore.
