You guys misunderstood me, I’m not a Cadillac basher, and I already earned $3,500 credit in my GM MasterCard toward the purchase of a new GM car. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Cadillac CTS Bose Edition with 12,000 miles per year are 3.95% and 54%, respectively. My CTS is 5 years old and has about 54K miles. It's been one of the best cars I've ever owned. My engine goes 7500 to 8000 miles on an oil change with just a slight tint to the oil. There is almost no change on the dipstick measurement between oil changes. My Goodyear tires have 36K miles on them and could go another 10 to 15K before replacement. I have been told -- by folks right here on this very site, that my belief in the new higher prices for the '08 CTS are unlikely. I believe the new CTS will be, tit for tat, several thousand dollars more (at MSRP) than the outgoing CTS. I want to be wrong.
