Re: X5 4.4 [tuthill]

Hello tuthill. If you were to lease a 2006 BMW X5 4.4 through BMW Financial Services right now for up to 42 months, its buy rate lease money factor should be .00100 with the payment of a security deposit equivalent to your truck's monthly payment rounded up to the nearest $50 increment and .00115 without the security deposit. Re: Is this a good deal? [gr8nrg]

Hi gr8nrg. All banks that lease vehicles charge consumers a bank fee (also known as an acquisition fee). BMW Financial Services' base acquisition fee is currently $625. This money goes directly to BMW FS and your dealer does not profit from it or have tha ability to waive it. Well, technically they can waive it in exchange for an increase of .00035 in the money factor ... Read More...

Thanks kyfdx! I will post the selling price question in that forum. Can you tell what the lease payment would be on a 2006 X5 3.0, 36 months/36,000 miles. I plan to pay a security deposit of $625. Re: 2007 News [timmboj]

Continuous improvements happen, er, continuously. Do not hold your breath for the 3.0 255HP engine in MY or CY 2006, my best guess. The X3 is "the new" body style -- third year is 2006. Although the painted bumpers, etc, are a pleasant trim update, I had hoped for a new dash replacing the coarse grained current version. The improvements are all the invisible ones ... Read More...

Re: X3 [mpt1123]

The X5 is, in several aspects and respects, er, the smaller X5. An issue with the current X3, X5 lineup is the somewhat perplexing size differential of several (many?) key metrics. In some respects the X5 is the smaller X3 then. Now price and actual weight of the vehicles of course does suggest (accurately) that the X3 IS the smaller of the two. The point in all that ... X3

Hello : Looks like I'm about to bite the bullet and purchase my first BMW. Just made my last tuition payment for the kids, so now it's my turn. I like the 2006 X3. Haven't driven it yet, but from what I read, that won't be an issue. Everyone seems to like it. One thing I find odd ..... there's no security system. Even the cheap Toyota's have a security system. My Jeep has ... Read More...

Re: Anyone go from a VW Touareg to X5? [spacemagnet]

I bought a BMW X-5 instead of a Taureg specifically for the reason of maintenance. In order to maintain the VW properly, I have to take it to the dealer every 5000 miles for whatever the normal maintenance called for. I'd then be on the hook for maintenance bills, and car rental fee. BMW has a policy of "If it takes longer than an hour, we give you a loaner". Also, because ... Read More...

2006 X5 4.4

I am considering purchasing a 2006 X5 4.4 through performance delivery pickup in SC. Highland green/sand, dark poplar, premium, cold weather, rear climate. Do you feel BMW has worked out all the "kinks"? Would the redesigned 2007 model be an improvement although first year production? Dealers first quote was $56K. Any suggestions or comments are greatly ... Read More...
